Inspired by traditional American cream soda, it has a sweet, rounded flavour without dairy cream.

Despite its name, it is not tonic water: it contains no quinine and lacks the bitterness of a classic tonic.

The aroma is dominated by vanilla and confectionery notes.

Lively carbonation adds freshness, while the finish remains sweet rather than bitter.

This version uses artificial sweeteners instead of sugar and declares 0 g of sugar per 100 ml.

Its ingredients include aspartame, a source of phenylalanine.

Enjoy it chilled on its own or use it as a mixer when vanilla notes suit the drink.

It pairs particularly well with Sipsmith Mint Chocolate Chip Gin, which the distillery recommends serving with cream soda and fresh mint.

For a highball, fill a tall glass with ice, add approximately 5 cl of gin and 12 cl of chilled cream soda, stir gently, and garnish with mint.

The vanilla character complements the gin's peppermint and cacao, while the juniper and black cardamom add botanical and spicy notes.

As it contains no quinine, the drink is softer and less bitter than a conventional gin and tonic.
