Valley of Mother of God Gin

Valley of Mother of God Gin is produced by Foxglove Spirits in Canada and is built around a set of locally foraged and regionally identified botanicals. The gin takes its name from a remote valley in British Columbia, a reference that reflects the producer’s focus on wild landscapes and natural sourcing.

The botanical base highlights Ottawa Valley juniper, which provides the structural backbone of the spirit. This is complemented by Ontario milk thistle and black trumpet mushroom, ingredients chosen for their earthy and herbal characteristics rather than overt aromatic intensity. Nova Scotia cranberry is incorporated to bring a restrained fruit element that adds brightness without dominating the profile.

On the nose, the gin presents a mix of forest-like juniper and subtle earth tones. The palate follows with herbal depth and gentle bitterness, balanced by a light, tart fruit note from the cranberry. The finish is dry and grounded, with lingering herbal and woody impressions.
