Gins to love!

The Illusionist Dry Gin is a German dry gin developed in Munich, with the founders beginning the concept work in 2015 and refining the recipe through extended trials before the final profile was set. The spirit is organically certified and built around a contemporary balance of citrus, herbal freshness, and gentle spice, framed by a classic juniper backbone.
A defining signature is its natural indigo-blue hue, which can shift to a soft pink when the gin is mixed with acidic mixers such as tonic water or citrus-based serves. This visual transformation is tied to natural ingredients used in the recipe, including butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea).
Aromatically and on the palate, the gin is driven by a layered botanical set that brings both lift and structure. Citrus elements from orange, grapefruit, and lemon contribute brightness, while herbs and flowers such as rosemary, lavender, and chamomile add aromatic definition. Cranberries bring a fruit dimension, and spices like mace, supported by the depth of licorice root and the freshness of lemongrass, provide warmth and contour.
In mixed drinks, the profile is designed to stay clear and expressive. A classic gin and tonic highlights the interplay between citrus, herbal notes, and spice, while citrus-forward cocktails can emphasize the gin's bright aromatics and the color-shift effect. Served neat, the structure remains dry and botanical, with a lingering finish shaped by spice and herb-driven freshness.
