Gins to love!

Copperhead The Gibson Edition is a Belgian gin created in collaboration with bartender Marian Beke, known for his work at The Gibson in London. The goal was to reinterpret the classic Gibson Martini by shaping a gin with a distinct savory orientation. The original Copperhead botanical base is enhanced with thirteen additional spices traditionally associated with pickling practices, including mace, celery seed, dill seed and bay leaf. A measured addition of 8-year-old genever provides depth and a grain-led structure that anchors its aromatic complexity.
The nose is structured and herbaceous, driven by dill seed, bay leaf and mace, with juniper maintaining a clear classical outline. On the palate, the gin opens with controlled spice and a dry botanical core before evolving toward earthy notes and the gentle grain presence of the genever. Mustard seed, celery seed and fennel contribute to a subtly briny flavour impression while cardamom and black pepper lift the mid-palate with aromatic definition. The finish is long, dry and savoury, with lingering herbal tones and restrained warmth.
Copperhead The Gibson Edition was designed for a specific service logic: it is suited to Martini-style builds and drinks offering minimal dilution, where its saline and botanical structure remains intact. When served in a Gibson Martini with a pickled onion garnish, its spice and herbal layers match the drink’s classic profile. In a long drink, a neutral tonic preserves the integrity of the botanical base rather than sweetening or masking it. Its savoury depth and controlled herbal direction position it as a gin for experienced palates and precise cocktail applications.

Je n'aime pas celui-ci. Il est fait pour être bu avec des oignons au vinaigre, donc on est sur un côté salé et très porté sur les épices de cuisine. Ce n'est pas du tout fruité ou sucré, donc ça ne me correspond pas.
