Citadelle Rouge

Citadelle Rouge is a French flavored gin produced by Maison Ferrand, built on the classic Citadelle gin distillate and enriched with a selection of red fruits. It takes its inspiration from traditional fruit maceration techniques, combining the house’s signature gin style with a vibrant and expressive fruit profile.

On the nose, fresh juniper forms the backbone, quickly joined by bright aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant and cranberry. Subtle citrus notes lift the bouquet, while blueberry and rhubarb bring a gentle sweetness and light tartness. The palate is round and generous, offering a clear expression of red berries balanced by the dry, structured character of the underlying gin. Juniper and citrus peel remain present, ensuring that the spirit retains its identity as a gin rather than a liqueur.
