Gins to love!

Whitley Neill Black Cherry Gin is a flavoured gin from the Whitley Neill range, built on a traditional gin base and centred around the rich, dark character of black cherry. It reflects the brand’s approach of combining classic gin structure with a clearly defined fruit element, while retaining a recognisable juniper backbone.
On the nose, ripe black cherry aromas appear first, offering a deep and slightly sweet fruit impression. These notes are supported by juniper and a subtle spice layer derived from coriander and cassia bark, which prevent the aroma from becoming overly confectionary.
The palate opens with concentrated black cherry flavour, rounded and full, before giving way to juniper and the drier botanical elements. Angelica root and orris root contribute to structure and mouthfeel, while cassia bark adds a gentle warmth that reinforces the spicy dimension suggested on the nose.
The finish is medium-long, with lingering cherry notes balanced by dry juniper and a lightly woody, spiced aftertaste. This profile makes the gin suitable for a fruit-forward gin and tonic, as well as cocktails where a darker berry or stone-fruit character can add depth without masking the underlying gin identity.
