Gins to love!

Bleu de Limoges is a French artisanal gin inspired by the iconic cobalt blue traditionally associated with Limoges porcelain. Produced by the French Booze Project, this gin expresses a strong visual identity through its natural blue color, obtained by the infusion of blue pea flower, a botanical long used for its chromatic properties.
The distillation is built around a classic juniper base, enriched with a carefully selected palette of botanicals including eucalyptus, citrus peels, aniseed, Sichuan pepper and long pepper. Together, these elements create an aromatic profile that balances freshness, spice and floral elegance. The use of blue pea flower does not add sweetness, but contributes subtle vegetal and floral nuances while allowing the spirit to naturally change color when mixed with acidic ingredients such as tonic water.
On the nose, Bleu de Limoges opens with bright citrus notes and fresh herbal accents, followed by gentle floral tones. The palate is expressive yet refined, revealing peppery warmth, aromatic herbs and a light citrus backbone. The texture is smooth and well-structured, leading to a clean and lingering finish with delicate spice and floral echoes.
This gin is particularly well suited to a gin and tonic, where the interaction with quinine creates a striking violet hue, but it can also be enjoyed neat to appreciate the full complexity of its botanical composition.
