Gins to love!

Brockmans Intensely Smooth Premium Gin is produced in England and represents a New Western Dry approach in which juniper is present but not the dominant aromatic driver. The recipe introduces blueberries and blackberries as part of the botanical structure, alongside traditional gin components such as coriander, angelica, cassia and orris root. The brand highlights the role of citrus peels in the final profile while positioning the gin as a berry forward expression within its category.
The production relies on copper pot distillation and a botanical mix that includes fruit elements rather than fruit flavouring. The gin is bottled at 40% ABV and is intended to offer a softer structure than classic London Dry styles due to the addition of berry led aromatics. Almond and liquorice contribute a light textural roundness that underpins the more aromatic berry and citrus elements.
On the nose, Brockmans presents clear black fruit notes that sit alongside citrus peel and a mild spice undertone from cassia. Juniper is perceptible but secondary, in keeping with the New Western Dry category. The palate continues with a fruit driven profile, with blueberries and blackberries providing the main aromatic impression, supported by a measured citrus thread.
The finish is smooth and moderately persistent, with a return of citrus and a subtle cassia warmth. Brockmans is often used in long drinks where fruit led profiles are desired and can also feature in cocktails such as a fruit accented Martini or Gin and Tonic served with citrus peel or fresh berries. The gin has been recognised in tasting competitions, including awards at the SIP Awards and other international panels.
