Kanomori Craft Gin

Kanomori Craft Gin is produced by Yomeishu Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a Japanese distillery known for its expertise in herbal liqueurs. This gin is made using more than 20 botanicals, with a focus on Kuromoji, a Japanese shrub valued for its aromatic character. Twigs, leaves, and branches of Kuromoji are used to create a balanced blend of herbal, floral, citrus and light spice notes. The production includes two methods: distillation with Kuromoji twigs and a separate distillation of steeped botanicals, allowing full extraction of flavor. Bottled at 47.4% ABV, it has received recognition, including a Silver award at the World Gin Awards 2024. The bottle, decorated with a Kuromoji design and a label shaped to resemble Japan’s Central Alps, received the Grand Prize at the 16th Glass Bottle Award in 2020.
