Yuzugin Japanese Gin is produced by Kyoya Distillery & Co. in Miyazaki, Japan. It is built on a base of sweet potato shochu, which gives the spirit a soft texture and natural depth. Local citrus plays a leading role, combining yuzu with rarer varieties such as hyuganatsu and hebesu. These are balanced with juniper, ginger, cucumber, and sansho pepper. Vacuum distillation helps preserve delicate aromas, resulting in a bright citrus-forward profile with subtle spice and earthy undertones. Bottled at 47% ABV, it works well neat or in modern cocktails.
