Luperia Gin

Luperia Gin is a Belgian gin distilled in La Louviere, a city whose ancient name, Luperia, gives the gin its identity. This historical reference is echoed in the visual universe of the bottle, which features the wolf, the emblematic symbol of the city. The project aims to create a local gin that is accessible, contemporary and firmly rooted in its place of origin.

The recipe is built around a classic juniper backbone, complemented by a bright citrus profile driven by grapefruit and lemon peels. Floral notes of rose add softness and elegance, bringing balance to the fresh fruit expression. The aromatic profile remains deliberately clean and approachable, highlighting freshness rather than intensity.

On the nose, Luperia Gin opens with lively citrus aromas, followed by delicate floral nuances. The palate is smooth and light, offering a clear citrus-forward character supported by subtle sweetness and gentle juniper structure. The texture is round and easy-drinking, leading to a clean, refreshing finish with lingering citrus and floral notes.

Bottled at 40 percent alcohol by volume, Luperia Gin is designed for versatility. It works particularly well in a gin and tonic with a neutral tonic and a grapefruit or lemon garnish, and can also be enjoyed neat or over ice as a fresh and modern expression of Belgian craft distillation.
