Polish Forest Gin

Polish Forest Gin is a pioneering craft spirit that encapsulates the essence of Poland's lush woodlands. Crafted by Ima Distillery, this gin draws inspiration from the serene Zielonka Forest near Poznań. Eschewing traditional botanicals like citrus and coriander, it embraces native ingredients such as juniper, pine, chokeberry, bird cherry, dogwood, quince, mirabelle, cherry, geranium, and marigold. These botanicals are foraged directly from the forest or cultivated in the distillery's own garden, ensuring authenticity and a deep connection to the land. The production is a labor of love, with each batch limited to approximately 1,000 bottles, distilled in a 250L copper alembic under the meticulous supervision of Mr. Ima. Every bottle is hand-finished, featuring a hemp string adorned with a wooden pinecone, symbolizing the forest's spirit. With an alcohol content of 42.7%, Polish Forest Gin offers a harmonious blend of woody, fruity, floral, herbal, and earthy notes, delivering a unique and immersive tasting experience that transports you to the heart of Poland's forests.
