Villa Ascenti Gin

Villa Ascenti Gin is an Italian gin produced by Distilleria Santa Vittoria in Piedmont. The recipe is built around a small set of clearly identified botanicals: mint and thyme, Moscato (Muscat) grapes, and Tuscan juniper berries.

In production, the gin is distilled in copper pot stills, a traditional setup that supports a textured, aromatic spirit. The choice of Piedmontese ingredients is central to the identity of the gin, with the grape element used to bring a distinctly Italian nuance to the botanical profile.

Aromatically, the nose is commonly described through an herbal opening led by mint and thyme, with juniper present in the background rather than dominating. On the palate, the Moscato grape note can read as gently rounded and slightly sweet-leaning, while thyme and mint keep the profile bright and fresh. The finish returns to juniper and herbs, with a clean, dry structure suitable for simple serves.
