Penrhos began making gin to find a better use for its imperfect fruit, rather than to add another gin brand to the market. Fill a large gin glass with plenty of ice, as Penrhos recommends, pour in 5 cl Penrhos Apple & Elderflower Gin and add 12 cl Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic Water. Garnish with an apple slice. The elderflower tonic doubles the floral aroma of the gin, and the fresh apple slice brings out its crisp fruit, so each sip moves from flowers to apple. Plenty of ice keeps the drink cold and lively all the way down the glass.
