Blueberry leads Ginny Pig Blueberry Gin, with juniper for structure and a smooth hint of vanilla. The small South Australian distillery makes it in small batchesSmall batchProduction in small quantities per distillation run, often in a small still. The term has no legal definition.Glossary at 42% ABV; it also appears under the name Blueberry & Vanilla Gin. Ginny Pig describes blueberry aromas, classic juniper and a touch of vanilla, followed by fruity sweetness and subtle spice.
Spicy · Fruity · Vanilla
Blueberry gives the nose its immediate fruit, ripe and slightly jammy. Juniper keeps the drink anchored in gin, vanilla smooths the transition between them, and the gentle spice keeps the palate from becoming simply sweet. The finish is soft and fruity, with vanilla lasting longest. Blueberries have a mild, floral sweetness and little acidity, which is why the juniper and spice matter: they give the fruit some definition.
Ginny Pig suggests several ways to serve it: with Mediterranean tonicMediterranean tonicA tonic with less bitterness and sugar, scented with herbs and citrus (rosemary, thyme, lemon). It leaves more room for the gin's botanicals.Glossary, soda, lemonade or prosecco, garnished with fresh berries, mint or citrus. Each changes the balance. Soda keeps it light, lemonade makes it softer and sweeter, prosecco turns it into a fruity spritz, and tonic adds a bitterness that holds the fruit in check. A chilled glass brings the berry aroma forward. It also makes a pretty spritz with prosecco and a few berries.

Add a few blueberries and a small mint tip, then express a strip of lemon peel over the top. The berry tonic echoes the gin, and the lemon and mint bring a fresher contrast.
