Vanilla Acacia BlossomDistilled Gin · 40 % ABV · AU
Esperance Distillery Co made this limited 2025 gin in tribute to the Ravensthorpe ranges and the Fitzgerald Biosphere. The producer names three botanicals: hand-foraged vanilla acacia, local rosemary and juniper. Each bottle also supports the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show, with nearly two Australian dollars donated from its sale. The distillery bottles the release at 40% ABV in a 500 ml format.
Limited Edition · Floral · Herbal
Juniper gives the gin a clean pine note, while rosemary brings a savoury, aromatic lift. The vanilla acacia is described by the distillery as floral, with a delicate passionfruit impression. Together they create a dry, fragrant profile that moves from fresh greenery toward a soft floral-fruit note without relying on a long, undisclosed botanical list.
The release is bottled at 40% ABV in a 500 ml format. Its botanical story is tied to Western Australia's wildflower country, and the artwork for the bottle is credited to Meg Hodgson. The producer presents this gin as a small seasonal release rather than a permanent core-range recipe. Esperance Distillery Co is based on the south coast of Western Australia, and the gin is vegan, gluten-free and made with carbon-neutral production.
Esperance recommends a gin and tonic with a lightly toasted rosemary sprig, and also suggests a Tom Collins. For a straightforward long drink, use 4 cl gin and 10 cl Indian tonic over ice. Add a rosemary sprig to the glass and set a lightly toasted sprig with a vanilla acacia blossom on a small plate beside it. The fresh herb gives the first aroma, then the toast brings a softer savoury note. The flower stays beside the drink rather than becoming an extra flavouring, leaving the gin's own floral, passionfruit-like accent easy to recognise.
