NOLET'S Reserve was created by Carolus Nolet Sr., the tenth generation of the Dutch distilling family. Bottled at 52.3% ABV, it is allocated annually, numbered by hand and presented in a gift box. The strength and limited production are part of its design as a sipping gin: the distillery asks for a slow pour rather than a long mixed drink.

Juniper provides the familiar backbone, while saffron and verbena give the profile its defining accents. The distillery describes saffron's warm spice and verbena's delicate citrus quality, a pairing that moves between floral warmth and a light, fragrant lift. The higher strength gives those notes room to develop in the glass, while the juniper keeps the spirit recognisably within the gin family.
The named botanicals are juniper, saffron and verbena. NOLET'S Reserve is a personal creation of Carolus Nolet Sr.; each bottle is individually numbered and annual allocations keep production limited. That 52.3% equals 104.6 US proof, making Reserve the strongest gin in the NOLET'S range. The Nolet family has distilled in Schiedam, near Rotterdam, since 1691; the town was long the capital of Dutch genever, with hundreds of distilleries. Carolus Nolet Sr. also created NOLET'S Silver, the house's floral gin with Turkish rose, peach and raspberry.
The house recommends savoring it slowly, and other official descriptions present it as a sipping gin. A neat pour in a small tulip glass is therefore the most faithful serve. Pour 3 cl at room temperature and allow it a moment to open. A single verbena leaf may sit inside the glass; place a few saffron threads and another leaf on a small dish beside it. Avoid tonic and heavy garnish so the saffron, verbena and juniper remain the focus.
