Twin Peaks Signature Dry Gin, sold as A Cut Above, is the Norfolk brand's flagship. Bottled in 70cl at 43% ABV and distilled from a grain base, it draws on twelve botanicals, among them juniper, citrus and the coastal samphire that gives the recipe its signature detail.

Samphire lends a savoury, faintly saline green note that sits comfortably beside juniper. Citrus lifts the aroma, and warm spice runs underneath the whole thing. Reviewing it for The Gin Guide, Paul Jackson found juniper, herbal citrus and earthy spice on the nose, then fruity and citrus notes on the palate backed by gentle coastal tones, subtly peppery spice and coriander seed, before a finish of sweet citrus balanced by dry savoury notes.

Nick and Jane Baker started the brand in 2025 after a gin school experience given as a Christmas present. They bought licences and a two-litre development still, honed this recipe at home outside Norwich, then partnered with Norfolk distilleries to produce at scale. Signature is the reference point of a small range that also holds the clementine-led Summit, the rooty Jura and Blizzard, the 57% navy version that took Gold in the high ABV category at The Gin Guide Awards in 2026.

The distillers suggest a gin and tonic with lemon, and the same gin works in a French 75 or a martini. For a first glass, set 4cl over large ice cubes, add 10cl of Fever-Tree's Indian tonic and a lemon twist squeezed gently above the drink. Tonic brings out a fruitier side, with hints of mango, and lifts the piney juniper. Start small: a measured pour protects the dry finish. Five-centilitre bottles exist too, which makes comparing the four recipes of the range an affordable exercise before choosing a favourite.
