Orange SliceA Christmas present of a Gin School experience started Twin Peaks Gin. Siblings Nick and Jane Baker, one a former Assistant Head Teacher and the other a Quality Manager in food and drink, developed their recipe on a two-litre still and launched the brand in 2025 near Norwich, in Norfolk, working with local Norfolk distilleries for production. The name comes from their shared love of mountains and Alpine holidays.
Blizzard is the navy strength member of the range: a very smooth, bold and powerful version of the Signature London Dry Gin, at 57% ABV. The Signature recipe uses twelve botanicals on a grain base, including juniper and citrus, and it is known for bright citrus and juniper aromas with a citrussy, herbal character, undertones of warm spice and a touch of coastal samphire.
At navy strength those flavours become more concentrated. Citrus oils and juniper carry further on the nose, the warm spice gains presence and the samphire-like freshness gives the palate a savoury, coastal edge. The high strength also means the gin keeps its character when diluted, which makes it well suited to cocktails with several ingredients, such as a Negroni or a Martinez.
The Gin Guide Awards gave Blizzard a Gold in 2026 in their High ABV category, for gins above 54%. It is sold as a 70 cl bottle or a 5 cl miniature, alongside Jura Gin, with notes of dandelion and burdock, and Summit Gin, with clementine. With tonic, pour the mixer gradually and taste as you go, since the strength changes the balance quickly; a slice of orange suits the citrus and the warm spice of the recipe.

Orange SliceFill a highball glass with ice, pour 4 cl of gin and add up to 10 cl of chilled Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, tasting as you go.
Finish with a slice of orange.
