BOSQUE Nativo Description

Wild Patagonian juniper harvested around El Bolsón and Lago Puelo gives BOSQUE Nativo its starting point. The flagship bottle from Bosque Gin is made in Argentina at 42% ABV and combines that juniper with coriander, cardamom, cloves, lemon verbena, orange blossom and grapefruit. The recipe is broad enough to be aromatic while remaining grounded in a dry gin structure led by local juniper.

The nose is bright with grapefruit and orange blossom, then becomes greener through lemon verbena and the resinous lift of juniper. Coriander reinforces the citrus line, while cardamom and clove add a warmer, dry spice in the background. The profile moves from lively peel to herbs and spice without turning sweet or perfumed. At 42%, the palate has enough body to preserve those transitions in a long drink, finishing on juniper and a lightly bitter citrus echo.

BOSQUE Nativo is interesting because its Patagonian setting changes the way the familiar dry-gin frame reads. Rather than presenting a long catalogue of wild ingredients, it chooses a recognisable core and lets a few well-defined botanicals expand it. That makes the gin accessible to someone who likes a classic G&T, while giving experienced drinkers more to notice in the glass. It works particularly well when served cold and simply, where the floral lift and the dry spice can unfold at their own pace.

The Perfect Serve uses Indian tonic with a lemon peel and orange twist. The lemon verbena and grapefruit already give the gin plenty of brightness, so the garnish should be elegant rather than crowded. Clear ice, a short stir and a cold tonic are enough to keep the drink crisp while allowing the Patagonian juniper to remain the final impression.

Keep both peels thin. They should support the citrus botanicals, not turn the drink sweet.
