Best enjoyed with Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, garnished with Lemon twist and Thyme.
See the perfect serveBottled at 45% ABV, Andre Brunel Le Gin 13 is a French gin from Domaine Andre Brunel. Made from an alcohol derived from grape stems and skins, it combines thirteen organic botanicals selected by the Brunel family. That framework keeps the gin recognisable in a long drink and gives the palate a clear point of entry.
Its documented botanical bill brings together Juniper berries, Coriander, Angelica root, Lavender, Thyme, Rosemary, Cardamom, Fennel, Vanilla, Orange peel. Juniper supplies a dry, resinous backbone. The vegetal, spice, citrus or fruit elements named in the recipe add contrast around it and prevent the profile from becoming one-dimensional. At 45% ABV, the gin has the concentration to stay legible as ice begins to melt and the drink opens in the glass.
On the nose, the first impression follows juniper and the freshest components of the recipe. The palate develops in stages: the opening highlights the brighter notes, the mid-palate brings forward the herbal or spicy framework, and the finish returns to a drier, more persistent line. The result rewards a measured, attentive tasting rather than a drink built on overt sweetness or a dominant garnish.
For the GinToLove Perfect Serve, fill a large balloon glass with clear ice, pour 4 cl of Andre Brunel Le Gin 13, add 10 cl of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, stir once and finish with Lemon twist and Thyme. The serve is intentionally restrained: it extends botanicals already present in the gin and preserves a clean, fresh and balanced finish.
