Best enjoyed with Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, garnished with Orange twist and Cardamom.
See the perfect serveFrom France, Awen Nature Ganesh is the 44.8% ABV gin released under the Awen Nature name. It is matured in French oak and finished in Armagnac casks. Its character comes through most clearly when dilution is measured and the botanical line is allowed to unfold.
Its documented botanical bill brings together Juniper berries, Ginger, Turmeric, Galangal, Orange peel, Cubeb pepper, Mace, Cardamom, Clove, Cinnamon, Orris root. Juniper supplies a dry, resinous backbone. The vegetal, spice, citrus or fruit elements named in the recipe add contrast around it and prevent the profile from becoming one-dimensional. At 44.8% ABV, the gin has the concentration to stay legible as ice begins to melt and the drink opens in the glass.
On the nose, the first impression follows juniper and the freshest components of the recipe. The palate develops in stages: the opening highlights the brighter notes, the mid-palate brings forward the herbal or spicy framework, and the finish returns to a drier, more persistent line. The result rewards a measured, attentive tasting rather than a drink built on overt sweetness or a dominant garnish.
For the GinToLove Perfect Serve, fill a large balloon glass with clear ice, pour 4 cl of Awen Nature Ganesh, add 10 cl of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, stir once and finish with Orange twist and Cardamom. The serve is intentionally restrained: it extends botanicals already present in the gin and preserves a clean, fresh and balanced finish. Take a first sip before any adjustment to the tonic; it keeps the balance between juniper and the supporting botanicals in clear focus.
