See the perfect serveAt 41.9% ABV, Gin Meridor is a French gin shaped by Distillerie Combier. Created in the Loire Valley at Distillerie Combier, it is distilled in historic copper swan-neck stills. The result is intended to stay readable in the glass, whether served long or tasted with restraint.
Its documented botanical bill brings together Juniper berries, Coriander, Lemon peel, Orris root, Cubeb pepper, Liquorice, Rose, Elderflowers. Juniper supplies a dry, resinous backbone. The vegetal, spice, citrus or fruit elements named in the recipe add contrast around it and prevent the profile from becoming one-dimensional. At 41.9% ABV, the gin has the concentration to stay legible as ice begins to melt and the drink opens in the glass.
On the nose, the first impression follows juniper and the freshest components of the recipe. The palate develops in stages: the opening highlights the brighter notes, the mid-palate brings forward the herbal or spicy framework, and the finish returns to a drier, more persistent line. The result rewards a measured, attentive tasting rather than a drink built on overt sweetness or a dominant garnish.
For the GinToLove Perfect Serve, fill a large balloon glass with clear ice, pour 4 cl of Gin Meridor, add 10 cl of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, stir once and finish with Lemon twist and Rose petal. The serve is intentionally restrained: it extends botanicals already present in the gin and preserves a clean, fresh and balanced finish. A first sip before adding more tonic gives the botanical line time to settle and keeps the finish clean as the ice begins to soften.
