See the perfect serveSybaritas Gin is a French farm-distilled gin from Gueuleton, produced in the Gers village of Gazaupouy in Gascony. The project is led by Victor Edange, brother of Gueuleton co-founder Arthur Edange, and grew from a family connection to agricultural distillation. Gueuleton presents it as a 43% ABV gin distilled in a copper still, made for aperitifs, shared meals and cocktails rather than as a purely technical showcase.
Its identity is rooted in French-grown botanicals selected from the family farm and other French producers. The public product information highlights a recipe developed over two years, without artificial aromas. Juniper supplies the classical resinous and lightly peppery frame, while citrus brings a bright, zesty lift. Ente plum adds a discreet rounded fruit note associated with south-western France, and alexanders, known in French as maceron, contributes a green, herbal and gently anise-like dimension.
On the nose, expect dry juniper first, followed by citrus brightness and a restrained orchard-fruit impression. The palate stays fresh and botanical rather than sweet: citrus opens the profile, juniper provides structure, plum brings depth and maceron lengthens the finish. The official material positions Sybaritas as an approachable gin for both neat tasting and cocktails.
For a simple serve, keep the mixer neutral, use plenty of clear ice and avoid overly sweet garnishes. A lemon twist and a small fresh celery leaf echo the citrus and maceron-like herbal character without masking the gin.
