three fresh blackcurrantsEpicureans Spirit Touch of a French Dream is presented by Epicureans Spirit as a French gastronomic gin, launched around a short but expressive trio of terroir ingredients: Menton lemon, Burgundy blackcurrant and Velay verbena. It is bottled at 40% alcohol in a 700 ml format and built on a smooth grape alcohol base. Each key ingredient is distilled individually before being blended, a method designed to keep the aromatic identity of each component visible in the finished gin.
The aromatic profile is bright and gourmand without losing freshness. Menton lemon leads with vivid zest and a sunny citrus intensity. Burgundy blackcurrant then brings a darker fruit note, rounder and more culinary, while Velay verbena gives a herbal lift that keeps the sweetness in balance. Juniper provides the gin frame in the background, giving dryness and direction to a profile that could otherwise become simply fruit-led. The result is citrus first, then berry depth, then a cleaner herbal finish.
On the palate, Touch of a French Dream is smooth, expressive and polished. The grape alcohol base gives a supple texture, the lemon brings attack, the blackcurrant fills the middle, and the verbena stretches the finish with a fresh botanical line. It can be tasted neat over ice, but in a gin and tonic it benefits from a clean Indian tonic that does not add extra perfume. A thin Menton-style lemon peel and a few blackcurrants make sense visually and aromatically, keeping the serve elegant and close to the gin's French gastronomic identity.
