Thin Slice of Fresh OrangeMr Lyan's Cream Gin is a pioneering spirit that reimagines traditional gin by incorporating fresh cream as a botanical. This innovative approach results in a rich, velvety texture and a unique flavor profile. The nose is dominated by luscious vanilla and bright citrus peels, complemented by a warm hint of cinnamon and fresh juniper. On the palate, it offers a thick, mouth-filling experience with pronounced citrus and vanilla notes, alongside a resinous pine character. The finish is viscous and creamy, leaving a lingering sweet spice. Crafted in collaboration with renowned bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan, this gin is produced by Atom Brands in the United Kingdom. The cold-distillation method ensures that the cream is never heated, preserving its fresh flavor without any burnt notes. With an ABV of 42%, Mr Lyan's Cream Gin is an essential addition to any bartender's repertoire, adding body and depth to a variety of cocktails. It is particularly recommended for a Martini serve.
The documented recipe combines cinnamon, angelica root, cassia bark, juniper, liquorice, orris, citrus peel, fresh cream. Taste it with cold tonic, then let a little dilution clarify the botanical finish.
For the recommended gin and tonic, use 5 cl of Mr Lyan's Cream Gin, 15 cl of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, and orange peel twist and cinnamon stick. Serve with generous, fresh ice and let the aromas open gradually. The recommended tonic is deliberately neutral enough to preserve the gin character, while the selected garnish gives a focused aromatic lift. Take a first sip immediately after stirring, then return after a moment as the dilution softens the alcohol and brings the mid-palate into balance. This measured approach keeps the tasting advice and the Perfect Serve aligned from nose to finish.

Thin Slice of Fresh OrangeFill a chilled copa gin glass with large clear ice cubes.
Pour 5 cl of Mr Lyan's Cream Gin over the ice, then add 15 cl of Fentimans Valencian Orange Tonic Water slowly down the side of the glass.
Stir once or twice, just enough to combine the gin and tonic while keeping the bubbles lively.
Garnish with thin slice of fresh orange.
Keep the garnish precise and restrained so it supports the main aromatic direction of the gin instead of covering it.
