Fresh Basil LeafLièGin Standard de Liège is a Belgian organic gin created as a special edition linked to the city of Liège. It is built on the same aromatic foundation as LièGin Original, with a recipe centered on black and red fruits and classic gin botanicals, while maintaining a slightly higher alcoholic strength.
The gin is distilled at the historic Radermacher distillery in Raeren, one of the oldest distilleries in Belgium. A neutral organic grain alcohol is used as the base, allowing the botanicals to express themselves clearly. Juniper provides the structural backbone, while blueberries and blackberries bring a deep, fruity profile supported by citrus zests of orange and lime.
On the palate, the fruit-forward character is balanced by herbal and spicy elements such as coriander, angelica, liquorice, almond and blackcurrant bark. The texture is round and expressive, with a fresh citrus lift and a long, aromatic finish. LièGin Standard de Liège is well suited to a classic gin and tonic with a neutral tonic, or in cocktails where fruit-driven gins are desired.

Fresh or Frozen Mixed Berries
Fresh Basil LeafIn a chilled highball glass, add 5 cl of LièGin Standard de Liège.
This Belgian gin's rich blend of blackberries, blueberries, and blackcurrant bark offers a deep fruity base.
Gently pour 15 cl of Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water over the gin to enhance its herbal notes.
To accentuate the berry flavors, add a handful of fresh or frozen mixed berries.
For a final touch, lightly slap a basil leaf between your palms to release its aroma and place it atop the drink.
