While the first editions of Hundred Gin were released as limited series, Infinity was developed to offer a permanent expression that can be enjoyed all year round. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is built on a base gin to which natural aromas are added, in line with the compound gin style.
The flavour profile is clearly defined by natural aromas of vanilla, pear, tonka bean and yuzu, supported by a broader mix of botanicals. Vanilla and pear bring a soft, rounded sweetness, tonka bean contributes warm notes reminiscent of almond and dried hay, and yuzu introduces a lively citrus dimension that lifts the whole. Together, these elements create a balance between fruity richness, gentle spice and fresh acidity.
On the nose, Infinity opens with sweet notes of ripe pear and vanilla, quickly joined by the more complex, slightly balsamic character of tonka bean. In the background, the citrus of yuzu appears as bright, zesty nuances that lighten the aromatic profile, while the underlying mix of botanicals adds a discreet herbal frame without dominating the main flavours.
On the palate, the gin is smooth and aromatic. The entry is soft, with pear and vanilla at the forefront, followed by the warmer tones of tonka bean. Yuzu brings freshness and a fine bitterness that prevents the perceived sweetness from becoming heavy. The botanicals in the background contribute a subtle herbal structure. The mouthfeel is supple, and the finish is medium to long, marked by lingering notes of pear, vanilla and tonka with a light citrus echo.
Hundred Gin Infinity is also known for its golden cap concept, in which one bottle out of one hundred is sealed with a golden cap that can give access to a refund of the bottle when the code on the cap is sent to the brand via social networks, according to the rules published by the producer. The gin has received international recognition, including a silver medal in the compound gin category at the World Gin Awards.
In terms of serves, Infinity is often recommended with a neutral or Mediterranean style tonic water, plenty of ice and a garnish of sage leaves and dark chocolate shavings, which complement its vanilla and tonka notes.
