Lightly Bruised Shiso LeafEtsu Yuzu Gin is produced at the Akita Distillery on Honshu Island. The botanicals, including Japanese yuzu, juniper berries, licorice root, angelica root, coriander seeds and matcha tea, undergo a seven-day maceration before distillation. The resulting spirit is diluted to 43% ABV with water from the Ou Mountains. The profile shows bright citrus from yuzu with herbal and floral notes. Etsu Yuzu Gin received Gold medals at the Global Gin Masters in 2022 and 2023.

Lightly Bruised Shiso LeafIn a chilled highball glass, combine 5 cl of Etsu Yuzu Gin with 10 cl of Fentimans Japanese Yuzu Tonic Water.
The tonic's additional yuzu essence amplifies the gin's vibrant citrus notes, creating a harmonious blend.
To enhance the aromatic profile, gently twist a strip of fresh yuzu peel over the drink, releasing its essential oils, and then drop it into the glass.
For a subtle herbal touch, add a sprig of lightly bruised shiso leaf.

C'est d'une douceur incroyable. On sent bien le yuzu (un citron japonais très doux), c'est très floral et délicat. Un gin super zen et très élégant.
