Hemp and green tea work together at that point, both green and slightly astringent, the tea supplying tannin and the hemp a broader vegetal note underneath it. Black tea sits lower with a darker, drier grip that lengthens the palate considerably. Ginger appears mid-palate with a gentle warmth rather than a bite. Lime and orange divide the citrus between sharp and round, cassia adds a dry cinnamon-like spice, angelica the earth beneath, and coriander seed ties the fruit to the spice. Juniper holds a clean line without ever pushing forward, which is what the word delicate on the label is actually describing.

Delicacy is easy to lose, so keep the glass simple. Fine-beaded neutral tonic, ice properly packed, and a generous pour. Orange peel follows the sweetness at the opening; a lime wedge sharpens the finish instead. Nothing sweetened belongs anywhere near it.
